Awards and Trophies
  • Amateur Owner Riders (AOR): The AOR Champion Horse and AOR Champion Pony in each class (Prelim – Small Tour) will receive a Rug and Rosette, Reserve will receive a Rosette. Rugs will only be awarded where there are more than 6 AOR competitors in each class. The 3 highest scores in each test (Horse and Pony) will receive a rosette. Competitors must tick the “Are you an AOR Competitor” at time of entry to be eligible.
  • The Gert Donvig Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the highest placed Victorian in the Prix St Georges Championship
  • The CK Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the highest placed Victorian in the Grand Prix Championship
  • The Statene Park Trophy will be awarded to the Rider aged 25 years of age and under with the highest percentage gained in an Official FEI test
  • Marcus Oldham Aachen Challenge winner will receive a trip to CHIO Aachen , 2018 (including return economy airfares to Dusseldorf (GER), 5 nights 4* accommodation and Season Ticket to Dressage events at CHIO Aachen July 2018 valued at up to $4500.00. Prize is not transferrable).  Rosettes for all finalists, prize for horse with highest aggregate score in final, rosettes to 8th place.
  • OTT: Highest placed OTT Thoroughbred across all EA Competitions.
  • All trophies will be held by Equestrian Victoria and a suitably engraved plaque be given to winners
  • There will be an opportunity for photos to be taken with the trophy following presentations
  • Fran Cleland (The Weekly Times) will be presenting an Award to the Australian bred Young Horse or Pony competing in the YH & P classes at the Dressage Festival that achieves the highest percentage. Rules: horse must be born in Australia by non imported sire and Dam.
Presentations
  • Riders must check the Presentation Schedule on the Notice Board outside the Secretary’s Office and Event Website for times and locations of presentations.
Prizes
  • Prizes will be awarded according to EA National Dressage Rules 3.19 and 3.20
  • Prize Money will be paid to the nominated account on the entry form. Goods in kind must be collected on the day, otherwise it will be forfeited to EV. Prizes “to the value of” may be cash/vouchers or other product.
  • Prize money is GST inclusive
  • Prize allocation will be reduced by 33% for any classes with less than 15 starters.
  • No championship prize for less than 6 starters (or less than 3 starters in the para-equestrian classes)
  • Young Horse/Young Pony Classes Prizes and Sashes/Rosettes given in the Second Round only
  • Championship Prizes will be presented as follows using Championship point system
    • Open Champions: Prelim, Novice, Elementary, Medium, Advanced, EA FEI Small Tour, EA FEI Medium Tour and EA FEI Big Tour Champion.
      • The Small Tour Champion will be determined by highest combined results using the championship point score system in the PSG, Intermediate I & Intermediate 1 Freestyle.
      • The EA FEI Medium Tour Champion will be determined by the highest combined results using the championship point score system in the Intermediate A, Intermediate B & Medium Tour Freestyle competitions.
      • The Big Tour Champion will be determined by the highest combined results using the championship point score system in the Intermediate II, Grand Prix CDN and the Grand Prix Freestyle CDN competitions
    • Pony Champions: Prelim, Novice, Elementary, Medium and Advanced.
    • Best Performed OTT: From all official competitive classes
    • Invitational Champions: Preliminary and Novice
Performance Medals
  • Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded this year at the Dressage Festival for performances gained during this calendar year.
  • Awards will be made at a special presentation evening at the Dressage Festival Saturday 9th December.
